UPWARD SPIRAL

Tribal spirals seem to dance around the neck in this lovely necklace from Thailand. The silver beads are all very pure organic silver, (purer than Sterling) and hand fashioned by
tribal silversmiths in the mountains of northern Thailand. The smiths are
from the Hmong and Karen ethnic groups, and most of their designs are ancient in origin and meaning. According to some, the spiral relates to the growth of the family. These pieces never have a high polish, because they are never polished by machine. The blue beads are old glass beads that are recycled from tribal necklaces. Lobster claw clasp.
