DHYANI BUDDHA GOLDEN TIBETAN RUPA 8"

What a beautiful statue of a Dhyani Buddha, one of the five different representations of Buddha, which all have different mudras. This Buddha is in the classic Sakyamuni pose. His right hand is in the "touch the earth" mudra, which indicates that the Buddha is in perfect balance between earth and spirituality, and he is calling upon the earth itself to witness his enlightenment. His left hand is in the meditation mudra and is holding a begging bowl. This statue is made of solid copper with 24K gold leaf . Avoid touching the matte gold face of this piece, because the oil in your fingers can effect the paint. Handmade in Patan, Nepal using an ancient month long lost wax casting process.
